I am extremely pleased with the help that my Specialist provided in getting me a Doctor's appt. by August 8th instead of the October 28th that I had been quoted by the same office. Thank you very much!

Medicare and my supplementary health insurance gave the 100% approval to hoveround in one week. It took Hoveround another seven weeks to get the chair to me. I've discovered that it probably would take another 3 days of practice in order to safely get around the people, chairs and tables here because of the uniqueness of the joystick. Perhaps the delays would mean less had I been living in my own home, but living in a facility has created a hassle for me and for the special arrangements that had to be made during the time of delay of delivery. If we had known the wait times right at the beginning, it would have been so much easier in making the necessary arrangements at the adult living facility. As I write this, the chair has arrived, the training was excellent, but as the chair sits next to me I am still working with the facility in changing from its immediate use to allow for the practice time. You are welcome to contact me if you would find that helpful for your purposes, but now that I know the arrangements and details, I'm very comfortable with the chair and circumstances. I would certainly advise and recommend that your telephone people be instructed on answering the basic question of ''when can it be expected to be delivered'' and/or ''what is the approximate timeline for delivery, training, and practice times so as to be able to make local arrangements with much greater ease?''

Well, due to my insurance,stalling,it took me a while(5months or so) to get my mobility scooter, but every time I called hovaround, I was treated very courteously by EVEEYONE I came into contact with, especially the insurance dept, and the delivery guy. Everyone had such excellent Public Relations, that all in all, I had a very good experience with hovaround, and look forward to getting them more business as per family members, and of course, many many friends. Thank you hovaround, for making my life more mobile now, I can enjoy playing with my grandkids, and making more trips now, than I have in years, all thanks to the friendly staff at Hovaround. GOD blessed me, with finding Hovaround.

When I first asked about insurance covered mobility scooters the specialist explained that they were on back order and wondered if I would call back or wanted a call back in the future? I ask if we could start the paperwork now because it takes a while the process an insurance claim. He agreed. If I had not pressed I would have gone to another company. I had my paperwork from my doctor faxed over right away. My concern is there seems to be a monopoly in my region on would fills insurance orders. I know a lot of agencies and individuals that want more choices and better service. That was my only issue. Not a serious one but my detour sales.
