From beginning (5 years ago) to now my experience with Hoveround has been top notch. The speed from first phone call to delivery of my chair was under two weeks I believe. I am now in the process of replacing my old chair with a new one. So far the process has been as easy and fast as the first one. I do recommend your chairs to my friends. Your customer service could use a little help though. I needed to have a battery change and was told how much they weighed. I told the service rep I could not lift the batteries let alone change them by myself. I had a stroke and only have use of my right hand.I was told to get a relative or neighbor to help you change them out. I had to bother my son in law to drive 20 minutes to my house to change the batteries. I informed the service rep of this and the answer I got was ,”well I did it, it’s easy.” I’m quite sure it was easy for her. Don’t know if she could do it one handed though. I could barely scoot the batteries into my apartment. In my opinion you should send out a repair person for those kinds of things. Just my opinion. Otherwise all the folks I have spoken to have been very helpful and really nice.
