The Q200-R was designed to be perfect for outdoor use, while still providing a great indoor solution. It features rear-wheel drive that was developed using an innovative testing method called SMART base technology. This helped Sunrise understand how geometry changes to a drive base can affect performance, and help them to create a precision-measured indoor/outdoor powerchair without compromise. The Q200 R powerchair boasts a small footprint of only 22.8 inches wide and 42 inches long with a small 18.3 inch turning radius, so navigating even the tightest spaces is easy.

When you go outside, the Q200 R provides great stability to help prevent tipping. The Q200-R Group 3 power chair is also ideal for taller and larger users, with a maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds, and with its larger caster wheels, it can tackle most open-air terrains. As a result, the Q200 R provides excellent outdoor performance, as it can handle uneven and hilly territory with the ability to climb hills of up to 8 degrees. However the Q200-R is quite light at 216 pounds, and it features a fold-down back, making it easy to hoist in and out of vehicles or secure to one of our vehicle lifts.

When traveling outside at higher speeds, the Q200-R tracks straight so you are in total control. And with 9 inch front casters, driving over obstacles like 3 inch curbs is not a problem.
