However, a quick fix over the phone might not always be possible, and in-person expert assistance may be required. If this is the case, Hoveround will schedule a field technician to come direct to you and service your power chair in your home.*

Frequently Asked Power Chair Service Questions

What is the warranty on my electric wheelchair?
All Hoverounds carry a 1 year limited warranty, and as specifically detailed in the owner's manual. Please review the manual carefully for limitations, restrictions, exclusions and other particulars. Follow this link for additional Hoveround power chair warranty details.

Are power wheelchair parts and services covered by my insurance?
Often parts and services are covered by your insurance if they provided the equipment. Most insurance companies will require the physician to write an order of continued need before authorizing payment for repairs. Please contact your provider about your coverage details.

What if insurance won't cover all of the repairs and parts I need?
Not a problem. Hoveround will accept credit card or cash payments for repairs that are not covered by Medicare or other insurance.

Every service situation is different and repair times will vary, depending on many factors (type of repair needed, insurance, available parts, scheduling, paperwork, etc).
