Dr. Vliegenthart is a board-certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon who has worked with Hoveround to create a streamlined process that is simple for patients, doctors, Medicare and insurance companies alike.

As an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Vliegenthart saw first hand what lack of mobility did to his patients both physically and emotionally. Years ago, Dr. Vliegenthart saw the great benefits Hoverounds had on his patients that, in 2002, he joined the company as its Medical Director.
